How are you? I am well.
I am working on publicity for some exciting 2023 tour dates for blues music star singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Vanessa Collier, who has been celebrating her live album, Live At Power Station, since it came out this past fall. Recording at the iconic NYC studio was a dream come true for Vanessa, for many legendary artists have come through the studio to create pivotal career-changing albums. Vanessa had a small studio audience join her and her band to have fun and create musical history for herself.
Vanessa’s live shows are memorable and high voltage for everyone, whether they have seen her for the first time or the tenth time. Her backing band provides a musical backdrop to give her room to breathe with her saxophone, sometimes guitar, and vocals. Collier proves every night why she has been nominated eight times for various Blues Music Awards and been a recipient of three, including this year’s 2022 BMA Winner for Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year.
